#1 Awakening

Volume 2

It has been almost one year since the battle with Seth. 6 of the girls have fully recovered, and have resumed their somewhat normal lives. Kristine has missed her and the others birthdays.

            Kate hasn’t stopped taking up time with Kristine, even if it seems she’s unable to hear anything. Kate blames herself for Kristine’s injuries.

9:35AM

Kristine’s Room

Kate: ::Walking up to the bed:: Kristine, it’s time to wake up? Can you hear me today? Please Kristine, please wake up for me…

            Kate turns around a heads for the door. Just then Kate hears Kristine’s bed creek. Kate looks back, Kristine is sitting up.

Kristine: What happened… did we win?

Kate: ::Running up to Kristine:: Your okay, I can’t believe it! You’ve been out so long. You missed our birthdays even yours, your 18 now.

Kristine: What!? How can that be? Seth did this to me! He took a year of my life from me! Everyone else okay?

Kate: Yes, everyone’s fine. Don’t worry about Seth, we haven’t heard from his since the battle. So, you don’t have to fight him again… How do you feel?

Kristine: How do I feel!? I’m mad as hell! That’s how I feel! I’ll kill him for doing this.

Kate: This is going to sound crazy but… your mother is the one who sent him after us…

            Kristine jumps to her feet. Kristine begins to glow brightly. Kristine opens the window, and flies out. Kate runs down stairs.

Kate: Everyone! We have a problem! Kristine got up and flew out the window!

Karen: What!? We have to go after her!

In the sky

Kristine: ::Thinking:: Seth, I will kill you for everything you’ve done. You’ll never beat me twice. Next time, I’ll be a master of aura. Hmm, I think I’ll land on the top of that huge hill.

            Kristine lands on the hill, and begins to test and train her aura. She quickly learns her strength has increased since the battle.

            On The Road

Dr. K: Karen, scan and check for power levels. Maybe we can find her that way.

Karen: Right! That should work! ::Karen scans the area:: It’s found one. It’s going up too!

Kate: Let me see it! ::Grabs the PL Scanner:: What!? 160!? 175!? 190!? 200!!! Step on it!

Karen: ::Grabs PL Scanner:: It looks like… she’s just over that hill… No, on top of it!?

Kimmi: How we get up thee?

Kammi: Any ideas?

Kate: Yeah, I got one. Ice, but I will go first. That way it’s less weight.

Kelly: Kammi and I will be right behind you.

            Dr. K stops the van, Kate, Kelly and Kammi get out. Kate creates an ice road, leading to the top.

Kate: Stay here; I’ll call ya if I need ya!

Kammi: Hurry!

Kelly: Easy for you to say…

            Kate rushes up the ice to get to the top of the hill, and to see Kristine. As Kate reaches the top, she sees Kristine’s bright aura outline. Kate also notices that both Kristine’s hands are glowing bright with purple aura.

Kate: Kristine! Are you okay?

Kristine: Kate!? Leave me be! I have training to finish, I don’t want anyone to get hurt.

Kate: Kristine, just come back with us to the school, and train there. Okay?

Kristine: I’m pushing myself as hard as I can! If I lose control, I might hurt someone!

            Kristine’s aura changes from purple to red. And the aura in the hands transform into fire.

Kate: What!? How did you do that!?

Kristine: Huh? ::Powers down:: Okay Kate, It’s time to go home. I’ll fly, you all can drive.

Kate: No, I’ll follow you. I’ll jump into the air and ride my ice back. I need to test it anyway. ::Looking down the hill:: we’re all going home. Go, we’ll be right behind you.

            Kelly and Kammi get into the van and go back home. Kate and Kristine take to the sky.

Kristine: So, this is a new one. Us flying home together…

Kate: Hey, you’re flying. I’m sliding in mid air, on ice. It’s not as good, but hey it beats walking, or buying gas.

Kristine: When we get back, I think I’ll test my new power. Fire… Maybe it was just a flame aura, reacting to my rage.

Kate: Maybe, but I think you have more than one power…

Kristine: This makes three Kate…

Kate: How does it make three?

Kristine: Because I lied about the night of the Hidevious attack. I was the attacker, at the time I thought I dreamed it. It’s clear now, I too am a Hidevious.

Kate: Kristine, if that’s true, you’re flying ability may be a type of levitation, which sounds like Karen’s power. Four powers… Wow girl.

Kristine: We need to test all my powers, maybe I have seven somehow, with all that, Seth’s gonna be no problem next time.

Kate: I’d think so, if not we’re in deep trouble.

Kate and Kristine return to the FOE and they all begin to plan their next steps of training. For Kristine this will mean uncovering hidden powers she may have.

“How is it possible? Kristine has so many abilities? We must learn what all of them are.”
